Our mission is to act as a catalyst, harnessing the collective efforts of the Congolese community in Leicester to enhance their overall well-being and foster economic empowerment.

As a dynamic, non-political, non-religious and non-profit organisation, we provide a comprehensive range of services, including advocacy, community cohesion activities, health and advice, as well as immigration support. Our initiatives strive to create a thriving and inclusive environment where everyone can prosper and contribute to the collective progress of our community.
Who We Are
The Leicestershire Congolese Mutual Group (LCMG) is a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO) dedicated to supporting the well-being of migrants, refugees, Congolese residents, asylum seekers and their dependants in Leicestershire facing challenges such as youth, age, ill health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantages.

Sickle Cell and Mental Health Inclusion Events
Leicestershire Congolese Mutual Group (LCMG) is proud to host a series of Sickle Cell and Mental Health Inclusion Events - community outreach sessions dedicated to raising awareness around the challenges faced by individuals and families affected by Sickle Cell disease and mental health conditions.
These events are designed to inform, support and connect community members through open discussion, lived experience sharing and practical guidance. With a focus on coping strategies, mental well-being and building cultural understanding, each session provides a welcoming and inclusive space for meaningful dialogue.
